Our story

Punta Oy – Established in 1982

Punta Oy designs and manufactures high-quality, highly durable storage, locking, and Smart Lockers enhancing the use and practicality of premises in various operating environments. Over the last few years, we have developed and expanded our operations to smart solutions that benefit from cloud services, mobile and IoT control.

Over our entire 30 years of existence, the company has invested in Finnish quality and reliability, innovative design, service, and product lifecycle management.



Environmental responsibility encompasses all of our operations; taking care of environmental matters concerns our customers, personnel, and the society around us alike. We want to take concrete actions for the benefit of the environment, the impact of which is visible in daily work and life. These actions can be small or large, widely diverse, but leading to the same direction:

  • Managing energy use with emphasis on greener energy, LED lighting promotion.
  • Logistics solutions, minimum number of transfers in production, avoiding incomplete loads.
  • Environmentally friendly implementation of investments, expansions, and renovations.
  • Waste reduction, sorting, and recycling.

We hold a key position in providing our customers with furniture and solutions that support sustainable development. We respond to the customers’ needs by providing products and services that take into account their entire life cycle. Our high-quality products are strong and durable. They can be transferred to new users, or their material recycled at the end of their service life.

Our design service

supports the customers in their own responsible activity through offering ideas and tailoring solutions allowing to save space and natural resources, streamlining work and reducing goods storage-related expenses.

Our installation service

takes care of installations in a precise manner. Installation works carried out properly and professionally extend the service life of furniture and reduce the need for repairs.

Our maintenance service

extends the service life of furniture by offering solutions compliant with ongoing development: our durable furniture is wear-resistant; in case of problems, our maintenance service offers ongoing development-based solutions, annual maintenance, fault and on-call maintenance.

Our recycling service

takes care of proper recycling. Almost all materials contained in decommissioned furniture can be utilised as recycled raw materials or in energy production.
